No. Potty training is not required for admission to our toddler program. Our toddler teachers support children through this developmental milestone at their own pace.
What curriculum do you follow?
We follow authentic Montessori curriculum guided by certified Montessori teachers, emphasizing hands-on learning, mixed-age classrooms, and student-directed activities.
When should I enroll?
We recommend enrolling as early as possible due to limited space. Tours and enrollment consultations help determine the best start time for your child.

Montessori Children's House of Denver Central Park serves families seeking authentic Montessori education in Denver's vibrant Central Park neighborhood. Our newest campus combines innovative design with time-tested Montessori principles, creating an environment where children from toddlerhood through elementary school develop independence, critical thinking skills, and a lifelong love of learning.
What Makes Us Different at MCHD Central Park
Central Park represents the newest evolution in Montessori education design. Our campus features thoughtfully designed learning spaces including window seats in every classroom, covered outdoor classroom porches, and a naturescape playground that brings learning outdoors year-round. Students explore sustainability through our extensive gardens watered by rain chains and greenhouse facilities where they engage in hands-on agriculture studies.
Our commitment to individualized attention shows through our exceptional teacher-to-student ratios: 1:5 for toddlers, 1:10 for primary students, and 1:15 for elementary learners. These ratios ensure every child receives the support they need to develop confidence, independence, and academic skills at their own pace.
Our Montessori Programs in Central Park
Our toddler program nurtures your child's natural curiosity while building essential life skills through practical activities, sensory exploration, and social interaction. Children develop language, motor skills, and independence in a carefully prepared environment designed for their developmental stage. Learn more about our toddler program.
The primary years focus on sensorial learning, practical life skills, mathematics, language, and cultural studies. Children work with classic Montessori materials that make abstract concepts concrete, building strong foundations for future academic success. Explore our primary program offerings.
Lower elementary students embark on cosmic education, exploring the interconnectedness of all subjects through engaging stories and research projects. This program cultivates critical thinking, collaboration, and a deep appreciation for learning across math, science, history, and literature. Discover our lower elementary program.
Upper elementary students take ownership of their education through independent research, community service projects, and leadership opportunities. They develop strong academic skills while building character and preparing for their transition to adolescence. Learn about our upper elementary program.
We prepare elementary students for the digital world through our comprehensive digital citizenship program, teaching responsible technology use and online safety.
Our summer camp program extends learning through the summer months with hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and creative projects that keep children engaged and learning.
Our PIP Studio gently guides families through pregnancy, infancy, and the first three years of parenthood. You will gain a deeper understanding of how your child is developing, interacting with the world, and expressing themselves, and you will learn how you can better show up as their guardian.

The toddler and elementary education. Its not day care or close to it. There is actual learning and teaching taking place compared to daycare.

The director and assistant director really listen to parents and are attentive to needs. I also am so grateful for their flexibility as my children are in the foster care system so they can come and go. I love having a center I can rely on. The teachers care and do their best and I see my kids thrive in the environment.

The teachers are very personable and they love the kiddos, you can tell. I love the app they use to keep you in the loop on what’s going on. They also occasionally send pics of what your child is doing in the app too.

My preschooler absolutely loves going to his new school. His first day, drop off was terrible due to his prior experiences of other centers. When I picked him up from daycare that first day, he told me how much fun he had and about his “nice teachers”. He says his teachers aren’t angry, and his room isn’t dirty like his old school. Every day since, he walks right into the center and his classroom without any issues. I’m never walking into chaos at drop off or pick up, it’s very nice seeing the teachers having calm control over their classrooms. Beyond thankful to have my kids in a place where I know they’re being loved and cared for!
